The history of the Changjiang 750 motorcycle dates back to the 1950s. The following are the main stages of its development process:
1 Imitation prototype: In 1957, Nanchang Hongdu Machinery Factory took the Soviet Ural M-72 as the prototype, and successfully launched the first motorcycle of New China -- Changjiang 750 side three-wheeled motorcycle. , Soviet Ural M-72 is USSR version of BMW R71.
2. Formal name: In December 1958, the car won the major civil product trial production award in the first enterprise civil products exhibition held in Beijing, and was named "Changjiang 750 Motorcycle" by Liu Ding, then vice minister of the Second Machinery Industry.
3. Mass production: In the early 1960s, the users of Changjiang 750 motorcycles were mainly troops. After 1964, through the site selection survey, some parts were gradually spread to various professional factories for processing.688 were produced in 1964,1,355 in 1965 and 1,364 in 1966.
4. Improvement and upgrade: In 1971, the Changjiang 750 regular three-wheeled motorcycle was improved to solve some problems of the prototype car and put into batch production.
